PROGRAM REGISTRATION:
Registration for all indicated programs will take place as follows:
April 10, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. ~ Long Sault Arena April 12, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. - noon ~ Long Sault Arena April 12, 2008 from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. ~ St. Andrews Outdoor Rink April 16, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. ~ Lancer Community Center
The Parks and Recreation Registration Form can be downloaded, completed and brought to any of the above registration events. In addition, you are welcome to complete the form and send a cheque via mail to the Township office, P. O. Box 340, Ingleside, ON K0C 1M0.
If you were unable to attend the registration dates noted above, or are seeking further information concerning an activity, please contact the Recreation Department at 613-534-2419.
Registration fees must be paid in full on or before the start of the program. Refunds will not be given if you have attended two or more sessions.
Programs will only be offered if there are a sufficient number of registrations. Unless otherwise stated, registrations will only be accepted until Wednesday, April 30, 2008.

Registration will take place as indicated above. Registration for ages 4 to 10 is $50 ($40 per child for families of three or more). 12 week season is played on Tuesday nights from May to July. A free clinic will be offered for anyone interested in helping to coach.

Registration will take place as indicated above. This co-ed league is operated out of the Long Sault Arena for youths between the ages of 6-14. Age groups will be determined on the number of registrations. Registration fee for the season is $65. 12 week season is played on Wednesday evenings from May to July.

Registration will take place as indicated above. A fun environment for players with an emphasis on skill development and being part of a team, intended for children currently in JK, SK and Grade 1. Games are played on Monday nights, season starts in May and ends in July. Fee is $40 per child, for more information please contact Jennifer MacIsaac at 537-2555. Coaches are needed.

A continuation to the T-ball program, still with an emphasis on fun and team participation, and further development of skills required to play softball. For youth currently in Grades 2,3 & 4. Registration will take place as indicated above. This is a competitive traveling league. Formation of teams will depend on the number of registrations in each division and the availability of coaches. If there is not enough players to form a team, registrants will be assigned to the nearest district. Youth who register for a division that does not have enough to form a team will be transferred to the Riverside district or given a refund.
League divisions are: Minor:10-11 years old Major:12-13 years old Junior:14-15 years old Senior:16-19 years old Big League Girls:16-21 years old
Try-out dates will be announced, the registration fee is $65.00 League rules state that each player is responsible for providing their own "CSA" batting helmet.
Evening and day classes available, excellent for all ages!! Classes consist of gentle stretching for the entire body with an emphasis on improving flexibility and relaxation. For more information please phone Loree at 613-932-1394.

AQUATIC INFORMATION

Registration for all swimming pools will be held at the Long Sault Arena on: - Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. - Saturday, June 7, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Morning classes will be held Monday to Friday, some courses are available on Saturdays. Courses offered: Sea Turtles, Swim Kids 1 to 10, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, and Leaders. Programs offered: Mom & Me, Aqua Fitness, Swim Team. Registration fee is $52 per session.

This program is offered at the Long Sault Arena on Sunday, April 27, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Cost of this course is $25 (cash only). Registrants are to bring a pencil and a healthy "nut-free" snack. The course will train youth on emergency situations, staying at home with a younger sibling, prank calls, communication, and much more. This program is offered at the Long Sault Arena on Sunday, April 27, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cost of this course is $20 (cash only). Registrants are to bring a pencil and a healthy "nut-free" lunch. The course will train youth on emergency situations, staying at home with an older sibling, safety at school, stranger alert, shopping mall safety, plus much more. This program is offered at the Long Sault Arena on Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cost of this course is $45 (cash only). Registrants are to bring a pencil, doll or bear, a small blanket, and a healthy "nut-free" lunch. The course will cover the following topics: - Having a successful interview - Babysitters and parents responsibilities - Caring and keeping children safe - How to get along with children - Playtime - Emergency situations - Introduction to CPR - Mealtime

CAMP 1 - Girls ages 9 to 13 This mini-camp will run on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Camp will run from April 24, 2008 to May 29, 2008 at the Lancer Community Centre. CAMP 2 - Boys ages 9 to 13 This mini-camp will run on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Camp will run from April 22, 2008 to May 27, 2008 at the Lancer Community Centre.

CAMP 1 ~ Monday, June 30, 2008 to Friday, July 4, 2008 This camp is for students in grades 5 to 12, and will take place daily from 8:30a.m.-12:30 p.m. CAMP 2 ~ Monday, June 30, 2008 to Friday, July 4, 2008 This camp is for students in grades 5 and under, and will take place daily from 12:30 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. CAMP 3 ~ Monday, July 7, 2008 to Friday, July 11, 2008 This camp is for students in grades 5 and under, and will take place daily from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Once again the Recreation Department will be holding a special events program during the summer months consisting of a variety of activities including bus trips. Programs will run from early July through August. Further information will be sent home through the schools or you may also contact the Recreation Department in June.
Activity Calendars will be made available in each South Stormont Library, the Long Sault Arena, local schools, and the Township Office.

Anyone Registering after August 1, 2008 will not be permitted to tryout for any competitive teams. Players registering after this date may also be placed on a waiting list. Seaway district meetings are held on Wednesday evenings at the Christ Church in Long Sault. Guiding offers girls and women a place to laugh and have fun with new and old friends.
