Member of various Township Committees for the term 2006-2010, including Fire Management, Parks and Recreation Advisory and Emergency Management
Served as Councillor for the former Township of Cornwall from 1994-1997, various Township Committees included, Planning Advisory, Waterfront Development, Economic Development and Committee of Adjustment
Personal Achievement Ray and his wife Marlene, the daughter of the late Ada & Harold Rombough, live on a small farm on the Amell & Ranald George Road, just off Highway 138. They have 2 sons, Daniel, who lives and works in Cornwall, and Scott, currently living at home and also working in Cornwall
Community volunteer with a variety of organizations, including Cornwall Township Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Stormont Cattlemen Association and driver with the Children's Aid Society
Recipient of 2002 Ontario Volunteer Service Award and the Cattleman of the Year Award in 2003
